Basketball
The game of basketball has given me so many opportunities and taught me many lessons about commitment, trust, teamwork, and hard work. Ever since I first picked up a basketball in 8th grade, I set goals for myself to achieve and never stopped dribbling. Now I am living the dream as a college athlete competing in the PacWest conference at Biola University and continue to set goals and break through barriers.
Career Highlights
During my high school career, I served as a 4 year varsity team captain and earned all-region, all-conference, and all-academic team awards playing for Casteel High School. During my senior season, I was able to lead my team to the Arizona Final Four.
Before committing to Biola University, I attended Eastern New Mexico University which is a Division 2 school in the Lone Star Conference. I only got to play one year, however, because our entire season was cancelled during my sophomore year. During my freshman season, I was able to lead my team in scoring during my first gaem against UTEP, a Division 1 opponent. I scored a season high of I6 points shooting 6-of-11 with four three-pointers. I helped to cultivate a hard-working team culture during my career at ENMU and played a total of 109 minutes in 16 games.
